What is your current work?

Currently, I am working at a global multinational company for consulting cloud-based accounting software. We keep close contact with the customers, improve ourselves to implement customers’ wishes as much as possible and create manuals to help customers using the software. When I first joined Cybernation, I was at another global multinational company supporting international network, however, I could not be acclimated myself to incident-based queries. That is when my colleague explained what she does and I was more interested than ever. When I consulted with my supervisor, if I could earn my certification, I could transfer so I studied hard, passed the examination and transfer to the job I wanted. Since then, I transferred couple of times and transferred back to the current job, but I feel that all of the jobs I experienced were meaningful and helped me improve. All of the onsite were fun and necessary for me to be better. I am truly grateful that I could feel like I could consult talk to my supervisor about any concerns and that I could transfer and try out until I can feel I am right for the job.

The most challenging parts of my job are.

Each customer has specific settings and some settings can get very complicated, especially when setting rules to check certain contents. I feel really accomplished when we get the setting that the customer wishes after repeating setting changes, running tests and consult with teammates. Since the system is constantly updated and new functions are added, I can continually keep improving myself. Customers have overseas group companies and/or have employees from overseas, which requires translating configured messages, etc. This job gives me opportunity not only to improve technically but use my English skill that I earned from studying abroad and former jobs.

What I want to be in the future?

In the future, I want to understand the system better, become more experienced from handling multiple projects, and someday become a project leader. Also I would like to not only translate, but to discuss in meetings with the overseas group companies in English by learning technical terms.
